Tron Inspired Invites
These are 5″ discs that contain a USB Drive, inspired by the Tron Identity Disc form the Disney movie Tron:Legacy. The discs were designed by me and 3D designer Todd Moyer. The exterior shell of the disc was made from injected molded black ABS plastic. The inside was a laser cut custom plexi glass ring with details that were inserted on the outside. The plexi glass was special because the client requested it glow the same blue as the disc in the movie. I found a company in Germany that made a powder that glowed “Tron” blue. I had it shipped here and mixed in with clear acrylic to form perfect 1/8″ sheets. The USB drive contained details of event with promo trailers.
